Here we are six days later spending a beautiful Saturday with my family in the all to familiar 2nd floor CICU wing of Miami Childrens Hospital. Sipping on liquid nitrogen also known as cuban coffee "un cortadito", woowee! Ashley is estatically haapy to be spending time with momma and Emmalee Grace whom she has not seen for the last three days. I too am overwhelmed with joy and extremely grateful to be here together as a family laughing, crying and rejoicing.
We just got the official green light to take princess Emmalee Grace home. I don't know if to jump for joy or worry about being able to give her the same care at home as she is getting here at the hospital. We are waiting on the discharge papers and orders to be completed and the request for the incredibly valuable and much needed suction machine for her congeston. Alright!
